My name is Mbali Nomalungelo Xaba, recently graduated from Stellenbosch university. I am writing this testimonial to express my profound gratitude to the Ikusasa Student Financial Aid Programme (ISFAP). Being a recipient of the ISFAP bursary has significantly impacted my educational journey.
I started 2023 with no funding and no hope of getting any. I had to spend the first 6 months (from Feb to June) with no funding; no money for rent, food, transport, and books. It was a very stressful time for me, doing final year and being stressed about finance, but ISFAP came through for me. From the moment I was awarded the ISFAP bursary, I felt a tremendous sense of relief. The financial support provided has allowed me to focus on my studies without the constant worry about tuition fees and other educational expenses. This bursary has been instrumental in making my academic pursuits a reality, and for that, I am truly grateful.
Beyond the financial assistance, I have found ISFAP to be a supportive and understanding organization. The application process was straightforward, and their team was always available to answer any queries I had. The communication has been clear and transparent, contributing to a stress-free experience.
