My journey as a student started when I wanted to further my studies; I have always believed that education is the key to success; I have always dreamt of achieving a qualification to make my parents proud of me and to change my family’s situation; yet to achieve this dream it has not been an easy journey; financial challenges have been an obstacle in my path; but I am grateful for the assistance that ISFAP gave towards the completion of my studies; it was not easy at all before I was awarded the sponsorship; I did not know how I would buy essential things like stationery, toiletries, pay tuition and accommodation; I The sponsorship made a huge impact on my life and made my studying path easy and comfortable. Academically, there were difficulties in meeting my module targets, but this was overcome with the assistance of other students and lectures. Finding a potential employer has been a challenging journey, but eventually the right door has been opened for where I see myself growing and developing problem-solving skills. I am currently on a 12 month training for Isuzu Motors South Africa as a Yes Learner reliability engineer.
