Simphiwe Zulu

I studied at the University of Johannesburg where I obtained my honours in Accounting Sciences (CTA) in 2019 through the funding obtained from ISFAP. I proceeded to complete my articles in the Assurance Audit Department at Ernst & Young.

I passed my first board exam in 2020 (ITC) and my second board exam (APC) in 2021. I qualified as a CA(SA) upon completion of my 3-year articles in 2022. During my 3-years of articles I obtained experience and exposure in the Energy and Natural Resources Sector, Consumer Industries Group Sector and the Financial Services Sector.

I am currently still employed by Ernst & Young; I am an Assistant Manager in the Tax Department.

ISFAP - the Ikusasa Student Financial Aid Programme - was established to assist poor and 'missing' middle income university students in selected fields of study to afford the university fees by means of providing financial aid provided the candidate meets certain prescribed requirements.
